Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Senator John F. Kerry (D-MA) have unveiled a new 800-page bill that calls for a 20% reduction of harmful greenhouse emissions by 2020. Environmentalists are praising the draft of the bill and calling it a major step toward Senate action on the worrisome issue of climate. The Washington crooners have got to do something about it before our snow runs out…or becomes too dense. This draft bill seems to be a step in the right direction, although there are many holes to the argument. ”This appears to be a very solid start, one we hope will get the attention of the entire Senate and galvanize action this year,” said Frank O’Donnell, president of the Washington-based group Clean Air Watch. Let’s get this ball rolling!!
