A jailhouse letter from alleged kidnapper Phillip Garrido has made its way to KCRA 3 news station in Sacramento, California.  The letter was addressed to “Hearst Attorney at Law,” as the network is owned by Hearst Television Inc.  The envelope was written in pencil and was sent to the station’s studios in downtown Sacramento.  Garrido put his name in the upper-left corner of the envelope, and the the address of the El Dorado County Jail, where Garrido is currently being held, was under Garrido’s name.

KCRA will unveil what the letter says in about an hour, so stay tuned for that news.  Garrido, along with his wife, Nancy, is being charged with 29 felony counts relating to the abduction and rape of South Lake Tahoe girl Jaycee Lee Dugard.  In a jailhouse phone call, Garrido spoke to KCRA 3 after he was arrested on August 27, saying he “turned [his] life completely around.”
