Lindsey Vonn ‘pitches’ in on Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid

From Ski Team balls in Boston to The Today Show in New York, ski queen and Vail resident Lindsey Vonn has been a busy lady the last few days.  And tonight was no exception, as she just threw out the first pitch in Chicago for the Cubs game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Vonn’s toss in Chicago comes at the same time that the city is pitching the International Olympic Committee in Copenhagen, Denmark for the right to host the 2016 Olympic Games.  ESPN is reporting that the race is too close to call right now, as the vote is less than a day away. However, the Windy City has one more speaker who will try and tip the scales: President Barack Obama will arrive in Copenhagen tomorrow morning to speak to the Committee before the vote takes place.
