These are exciting times for fans of winter sports. The first flakes of snow are beginning to fall all over the US, and this weekend three award-winning skiing films will be featured at the MontBleu Resort in Lake Tahoe, CA. Andy Davis, who’s film “Reasons” received Movie of the Year at the International Freeski Film Festival said of the MontBleu films, “I wanted to bring them to town because they weren’t coming here,” More than 300 people attended the festival last year, and Davis expects an even larger turnout this year for his event, which has a number of sponsors.

Three award-winning films, “Reasons,” “Everyday is a Saturday,” which won Best Film, Best Soundtrack and Best Male Athlete , and “Contrast” which took home Best Trick and “Refresh” had “Best Jib Flick,” will be presented on Saturday, October 3rd. The price of admission is $15 with “numerous raffle giveaways and door prizes.” The first 100 to enter the theater will receive an early-season lift ticket at Sierra-at-Tahoe.
