Last winter the ski lodge at Soldier Mountain ski resort in Idaho was destroyed when a fire tore through it at the end of the season.  The lodge’s owner, Bruce Willis, won’t let the resort die hard, however, with the announcement that the new facilities will be open and ready for next winter’s season.  According to Willis, extensive renovation has been carried out through the summer and will continue into the spring.

The “Surrogates” actor claimed that “people souhld be able to stay in it next winter and it should be open for business.” Willis reportedly has plans to expand the ski area and build a second lodge with new lifts and even build an airport nearby.
