Lance Armstrong, the cancer survivor and Aspen Ski Resort resident says that he will be more of a contender to win the 2010 Tour de France.  Although he did acknowledge that arch nemesis Alberto Contador will be hard to beat, Armstrong believes that the fact that he had so little warm up before the 2009 race makes the 2010 race more of a competition.

The Aspenite and former Kate Hudson flame won the Tour de France from 1999 to 2005 and then retired.  For the 2010 race Armstrong has Team Radioshack and most of the racers from last years Astana team where Alberto Contador was his somewhat dysfunctional teammate.  Armstrong has not committed to race beyond 2010, but has indicated that he might want to try some ironman competitions.
