Battersea Powerstation to Host FIS Event Again

For the second year in a row the Battersea Power Station, will host FIS Big Air, in where else, London. Skiers will also get a crack at the 17m hill, which is the biggest in the UK!

The Battersea Power Station is a well known decommissioned power station on the river Thames. The famous landmark is included in Pink Floyd’s Animlas cover and in various films. Come the last weekend this October, the site will be home to a mutli-day snow and music event. And if you are not able to participate in the jump, organizers have promised a pretty impressive aprés. Musicals acts. Some of the confirmed acts included. Eagles of Death Metal, Orbital, Friendly Fires, and more yet to be announced.
