“It’s my kind of town, Chicago is…”

Thanks, Frankie. My kind of town too…especially when there’s a snowstorm coming in October! There was snowfall in the town on October 12th three years ago, but they haven’t had a full blown storm this early in the year since 1989 when they got 6.3 inches dumped on them. According to some meteorologists, there’s a strong chance of snowfall on Sunday in the Chicago area.

Feel like familiarizing yourself with the ski areas in the Chicago area? This may be a good weekend to get a head start. Alpine Valley Ski resort is only 2 hours north of Chi town. Or try the easier Wilmot Mountain (Alpine has 5 black diamonds), only 1 hour northwest. We’re starting to get pretty excited over here…
