Ski on the moon part 2

Following the story reported here a while ago about skiing on mars and the moon, it’s nice to see that NASA is finally taking the endeavor seriously! This morning before 4:30 Pacific Standard Time, a rocket and a satellite were hurled into the moon’s surface. The idea is that the impact would kick enough moon dust into the air for the satellite to determine whether or not there’s any water vapor among the moon dust. Clever rascals.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but if there’s water on the moon, isn’t is safe to say there’s a possibility of there being snow on the moon too? If we’re renting apartments on the moon in 30 years, I’d say in 35 years we’ll be making snow and ripping through some lunar mountain moguls. I dare you to disagree.

Good Friday everyone!
