Now that the massive Sheep Fire is well contained (the cooler temperatures have definitely helped), Mountain High ski resort in Wrightwood, California is looking forward to slamming into the season with some new upgrades and added features.

Look forward to more snow at the resort, as they’re amping up their snowmaking capabilities. They’ve got four new Prinoth Bison Park Cats and whole lot of new terrain features. Ken Showalter is the Assistant Mountain Manager, and he said, “our system has been in place for a while, but compared to some of the newer systems I’ve seen, they can’t touch the amount of snow we can make.”

Mountain High is always thinking of new ways to expand and improve. At this point, the resort includes three mountains, 16 lifts and 59 trails over 290 acres. Head out to Mountain High this season, it’s a mere 90 minutes from the city of angels.
