Mount Wasserfeld adds two new lifts

Powderhound skiers favorite, Mount Wasserfeld has added to new state of the art hi-speed quads.  Rendevous Two and Ski Escalade are the names of the ski resorts new babies.  Rendevous will replace the old double chair named Rendevous and Ski Escalade will service new terrain that was just approved by the forest service last year.

“This is a giant windfall for the mountain and skiers,” said GM Matt McCreery.  “We will now thin the herd at the base camp with over triple the uphill capacity from Rendevous Two and once skiers are at the top, a good percentage of them will tackly all the new terrain serviced by Ski Escalade.”

On top of last years addition of States Street triple chair and the Rage quad, there are now 9 great uphill lifts.  Snow is already falling and some hikers have already been skiing the new terrain this week.  There is about 8 inches of coverage so bring your rockers.
