A new twist has come to light in the case of Phillip Garrido, who is accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard from the bus stop in 1991  in her ski resort town of South Lake Tahoe.   Contra Costa Sheriff’s office spokesman Jimmy Lee has said that investigators are looking into reports that Garrido was seen with two young girls before his arrest.  These reports have indicated that they were not the two daughters, ages 15 and 11, that he fathered with Dugard.  Instead, they were supposedly around the ages of 6 and 7.

Officials have said that this new information came from someone who knew Garrido; however, they have not found any evidence as of yet that corroborates the report.  Garrido, along with his wife Nancy, has been charged with 29 felony counts relating to Dugard’s abduction, including kidnapping and rape.  Lee also said that if anyone else has information about this possible sighting, please contact the Sheriff’s office.
