Tahoe saves bald eagle

Lake Tahoe has been in the news a lot lately because of the creepy needs to be beaten with a shovel kidnapper.  It is obviously well known for having some of the best ski resorts in the world.  Now it can also be known for having some major cool people.

Last spring a baby bald eagle found on the highway was brought into the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care near Red Lake.  It was just a few months old, but abandoned and certainly was not long for the world.  Well after a few months of round the clock care, the bald eagle was released into the wild.  And within second the eagle was joined by two other hair folicle challenged birds.  Good on you Lake Tahoe!
