Telluride offers new ski school for tots

Do you have some kids between the ages of 3-14 who want to learn to ski? Or do you feel like you want to expose your kids to the sport early so they develop a life-long for it? A great place to do that this season is at Telluride, Colorado. They’re instituting a new ski school for kids this season, starting January 9th. They call it the “Telluride Development Squad”. Fred Rumford is the executive director of the program and he had this to say, “we are truly excited to offer this exceptional kid’s program. This is a tremendous opportunity for kids in the region to develop a lifelong love of skiing and riding in a program that promotes team building, mountain safety and learning in a non-competitive environment.”

Sound good? You gotta register by December 15th, and it’ll put you back about 480 bones. But, that’s for 8 weeks of instruction AND lunch. Lunch! That would be my favorite part of the instruction if I were still a kid. Actually, who am I kidding, lunch is still my favorite part…
