Compatriot Snowboards back on the retail market for the 2009-2010 winter season

Compatriot Snowboards announced that it will resume operations and will offer a very limited run of high-end snowboards for the 2009-2010 winter season.

The company is under new ownership and will introduce a list of pro athletes it has put together in conjuction with the company’s new website, according to a released statement.

“It certainly seems like the right time for this brand to resurface,” said new Owner and Sales Manager Rick Hansen. “Retailers are still looking for unsullied brands that can offer something unique and meaningful to their core core consumer.”

Compatriot has partnered with the distinctive design company Distrikt Creative Group for product design, graphic direction and promotional concepts. Distrikt Creative Group works with other top clients such as Analog Clothing and Nike.
