Simon Dumont in LA for premiere of Transitions

The ski movie “Transitions” is certainly one of the best ski films of all time.  Edited completely by Riley Poor, who shot the film and then suffered a horrible accident leaving him a quadriplegic. Still Poor was able to edit and finish his opus. “Transitions” documents action sports’ meteoric rise into the mainstream. The fim stars the living legend himself, Simon Dumont, along with appearances from Tanner Hall, Mike Douglas and a cast of the best skiers in the world.

Thursday night, a few lucky people in Los Angeles will get to see the film.  The premiere takes place at the Red Bull movie theatre at their main headquarters in Santa Monica.  “Transitions” will be simulcast on www.redbullskiing.com starting at 6:00 PST.  If you aren’t lucky enough to attend the premiere, watch the film on the Red Bull website.  It is one of the most inspiring ski movies of all time.
