Six year old Colorado boy floats 7,000 feet above ground in balloon

Today, in Fort Collins Colorado, just an hour and a half from the Edlora ski area, a 6-year-old boy named Falcon climbed into his parent’s man-made giant balloon and took to the sky. The balloon is 20 feet long and 5 feet high and was attached to the family’s home this morning before the boy untied the rope and climbed in.

The balloon has just landed safely on the ground in Eastern Colorado. At this point in time, one question remains: is the boy OK? He does not appear to be in the balloon anymore.

The door on the balloon was unlocked, so it is possible that the boy fell out at some point. We will keep you updated as we know more. We hope for the best for Falcon and his family.
