The best up-and-coming snowboarders are preparing for their best shot at stepping up their games in a major way. That’s right, they’re getting ready for the 2010 US Snowboarding Revolution Tour, starting January 14. This is the sixth year of this competition, and it’ll kick off in Mt. Snow, Vermont with halfpipe and slopestyle competitions. ”The Revolution Tour is entering its sixth year and we are absolutely stoked for another great season,” U.S. Snowboarding Program Manager Abbi Nyberg said. “The Tour has grown so much over the past few years it has been great to see athletes progress from the Revolution Tour and have success at the Grand Prix, US Open, other major events.” This year promises to be as competitive as ever, as the top riders have the chance to participate in the Junior World Championships, the US Open, the US Snowboarding’s Project Gold Team and the Grand Prix.

After Vermont, the tour moves to Copper Mountain, CO in February, followed by Tahoe’s Boreal Resort in March. The final stop will be in none other than beautiful Mt. Hood Meadows.
