Now that Lake Tahoe kidnapping victim Jaycee Lee Dugard has ascended into the public eye by appearing on the cover of PEOPLE magazine, it appears that she is also ready to return to school.  According to a report in the Sunday Times, Dugard and her daughters, Starlit and Angel, are thinking about changing their names to they can all go to school.  While in captivity at the house of Phillip and Nancy Garrido, none of the girls were able to go to school, although Dugard did her best to teach her girls what she could.

Now, Dugard would like to use her proceeds from an upcoming memoir to pay for a private tutor for herself and also to send her daughters to private school.  Dugard’s aunt, Tina Dugard, says that the girls “are educated and bright.  It’s clear they’ve been on the internet…and that Jaycee did a great job with the limited resources she had.”  For now, Dugard is keeping her daughters out of the spotlight, as they are all staying at an undisclosed location in Northern California.
