Head out to the Summit County Community and Senior Center in Summit County, Colorado tonight from 7-9 to enjoy a ski season kick-off party! In addition to there being food (I’m sold), here’s what else you can expect from the evening. Thanks to the Summit Daily News for their contribution:
“What to expect: Ski resort representatives – Arapahoe Basin Ski Area’s vice president and chief operating officer Alan Henceroth, Breckenridge Ski Resort’s director of mountain operations Gary Shimanowitz, Copper Mountain Ski Resort’s president and chief operating officer Gary Rodgers, Keystone Resort’s vice president of mountain operations Doug Lovell and Loveland Ski Area’s director of business operations Rob Goodell – will preview their operations for the upcoming season at the kickoff event.

Topics covered at the kickoff will include: Opening and closing dates; facility and lift upgrades; ongoing projects; season, multi-day and day pass information; special events; ski and snowboard school programs; competition schedules and environmental initiatives. The gathering will also be an opportunity for each resort to raise its profile, screen videos, and distribute new trail maps and other promotional materials.”

Expect more of these type of gatherings as the heart of the season grows nearer and nearer…
