Jamie McCourt fired as Dodgers CEO, one day after the team loses to the Phillies

Jamie McCourt was given a pink slip by her husband, literally. Her lawyer announced today that she has been fired as Dodgers CEO by team owner Frank McCourt – just one day after the team lost for the second straight year to the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series.

And to make matters worse, the couple confirmed last week that they were separated.

So what now? The team’s executive office is going through a separation and the players just lost their shot to make their first appearance in the World Series since winning it in 1988. Don’t worry Dodger fans. November is almost here and what better way to release some anger than skiing or snowboarding through some fresh powder.

Mt. Baldy, which is an hour-and-a-half away from Los Angeles, is set to open by the end of October. Other local mountain resorts such as Big Bear and Mt. High will open soon after.
