Lance Armstrong to ride in Tour of California, which stops in Big Bear

The Amgen 2010 Tour of California is truly a tour of the state. One stage begins in Pasadena and ends in the mountain town of Big Bear. Lance Armstrong will lead team RadioShack, and the riders had agreed that in order for the race to have any merit, one stage had to end in a mountain town. That’s what we like to hear!! The Pasadena to Big Bear stage of the Tour will consist of 10,000 feet of climbing. Easy, peasy, lemon-squeezee.

The Tour of California will be a good prep race for Armstrong as he gets ready to, yet again, take on the Tour de France in July.

Good luck to all the riders!
