Get some new gear and support the Snow Trails Ski Patrol this weekend

Feel like killing 2 birds with one ski this weekend? Go out to Ohio’s Snow Trails ski resort, where you can participate in the 2nd Annual Swap and Zozo Fest. Wait, swap and Zozo?! Whoa! I don’t know what Zozo means, but it sounds great!

Seriously though, this is a cool event. If you want to register some gear to sell, it’ll only cost you a buck. And, when you sell something, 20% sales commission will benefit the non-profit organization, Snow Trails Ski Patrol. They’ll use the funds to purchase safety supplies, and we all know how I feel about that.

If you don’t want to buy or sell any gear, you can still help the Ski Patrol by participating in their fundraising raffle. “The winner has the choice between a pair of Men’s K2 Apache Raider skis with Marker MOD10 binding, a $699 retail value, and a pair of Ladies Rossignol Attraction III skis with IPT binding, also a $699 retail value. Both sets are intermediate all-mountain skis. A second prize winner will have the choice between a Platinum 12 Visit Punch Card, a transferable unlimited pass with 12 redemptions and a value of $245, and a Season Snowtubing Pass, with unlimited tubing anytime, any-day, with a value of $120. A third prize winner will receive two All-Day Lift & Slope Access Tickets, plus two Weekday Unlimited Tubing Tickets, all valued at $134. A fourth prize is one All-Day Lift & Slope Access Ticket, plus one Weekday Unlimited Tubing Ticket, all valued at $67.”

Enjoy the Swap this weekend, but make sure to especially enjoy the Zozo.
