Some of the world’s best skiers sign on for Moscow Champions Cup: Roster announced

Several of the world’s best slalom skiers have signed on to compete in Moscow at the second annual FIS Alpine Ski Champions Cup in parallel slalom. This year the event will take place on November 21, and on a bigger ramp than what was used during last season’s inaugural event.

Fourteen men and seven women have confirmed their participation, along with three up-and-coming Russian skiers. Among the men, Frenchman Jean-Baptiste Grange will go for another win, and Maria Riesch of Germany tops the ladies roster. (Riesch along with being last year’s Lange girl is also BFF’s with Lindsey Vonn.)
