STORM ALERT: Utah snow!

Tomorrow could very well host the biggest storm so far of the 2009/2010 ski and snowboard season. Weather forecasters are calling for 100% precipitation, with about six inches of the white stuff in the Salt Lake Valley. That means MORE snow, and better, drier conditions up along the Wasatch range.

The wet weather is predicted to continue through Wednesday, and then clear, as is typical of Utah’s blue-bird sky traditions.

Solitude is set to open in just a few weeks on November 13, and Brighton will follow suit on November 16. Those dates are just around the corner, and tomorrow’s storm should hopefully get the ball rolling. If any mountain resorts open their slopes sooner due to the incoming snow, the Ski Channel will keep you posted!
