Here she comes, no wait, not yet.  OK, now here she comes.  After an aborted opening a few weeks ago and only a month removed from surviving a near miss with the Sheep fire, Mountain High Resort will once again be the first ski resort to open in So-Cal.

Before you get in celebratory mode, know that opening day will be for season pass holders only.  For the common follk, Friday will be open to all, $40 for 8-hour tickets, $25 for the groms.

Mountain High’s Karl Kapuscinski commented on the resort’s 13th year-in-a-row as the first ski resort to open in So-Cal.  “This has the feel of a great season. With our early opening, El Nino looming, and the economy recovering, we feel very positive about the upcoming winter.”
