What do you get when you add skiing at a great lodge (Alta Ski Area), top-notch wines (Fisher Vineyards), and epically delicious food (Chef Paul Raddon)? That’s right. You get a heck of a time.

Join fellow ski enthusiasts and wine enthusiasts as they head out to the Alta Ski Area in Utah for a special ski/wine/food pairing event in December. On Friday December 4th, the event kicks off with a recpetion put on by the winemakers. Saturday is, of course, an all-day ski fest, followed by a special dinner with great food and wine pairings from Fisher Vineyards in Napa, and Alta’s renowned Chef, Paul Raddon. The final day, Sunday, is another ski-fest with a delicious lunch break in the middle of the day.

Juelle Lamb Fisher is the propietor of Fisher Vineyards, and she spent her childhood in Salt Lake City, skiing at Alta. “I remember skiing at Alta when there was only one lift — the single chair Collins. None of the runs were groomed and there was always great fresh powder. Today, I often think, when I walk to the top of our vineyard terraces, what a great journey it has been, from the pristine mountain air and skiing to the quietness of the early morning in our mountain vineyards.”

If you’d like to participate in the weekend of festivities, it’ll cost you $797 a person for double occupancy, or $1,154 for single occupancy. There’s also a special “no wine” rate if you’d rather not drink.

Go out and enjoy yourselves! You deserve it!
