A day after Mountain High in Wrightwood opened for season passholders, Bear Mountain Resort announced this morning that it, too, will offer lift served skiing and riding in southern California on Friday.

Bear will open its Chair 5 Central Park run with half a dozen terrain features beginning Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. Snowmakers fired up over 70 guns on Central Park run alone to ensure adequate cover for opening day.

Bear’s ticket prices will be reduced to $25 for Adults, $20 for Young Adults and $10 for children. The Ice Box Apparel and accessories will be open along with rentals and food services.
