Ahh!!! Snow monsters on Halloween!!! Ahhh!

Whoa dude, calm down. Actually, these are just kids—not that kids can’t be terrifying, but still.

So what the heck am I talking about? The Cross Country Ski Areas Association is a cool non-profit organization that loves Cross Country Skiing. Here’s some info from their website:

“CCSAA’s purpose is:

  • to foster, stimulate, and promote cross country skiing in North America.
  • to further and protect the legitimate interests of the cross country ski area operator.
  • to provide for the establishment of reasonable standards for the protection of the cross country skier.                                                                           photo couresty of Fox Kids

CCSAA is committed to increasing the number of cross country skiers. Our organization actively promotes ski lessons and cross country skiing on groomed trails. Also, CCSAA serves businesses which benefit from skiing on groomed cross country trails; there are many advantages to membership.

CCSAA is the voice of cross country ski area owners and operators across the U.S. and Canada.”

They also have a great program for kids, called Snow Monsters. It’s a fun, educational and athletic program that encourages kids to have fun while learning, and to go outside and be active. It teaches kids to respct nature and to enjoy what the natural world has to offer. It’s really a great way to combat the growing lethargy that faces this next generation of kids. Right on Snow Monsters! And right on CCSAA!

Oh, and sorry to scare you before. There are no such things as snow monsters. Are there????
