Right now folks are gathering at the bottom of Park City’s Main Street to help the Park City Mountain Resort make history. For best snow? Sure, later. Most skiable runs open? Could be done. But this feat will be so thrilling, PCMR is hoping it will officially go down in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Alright already, what are we talking abut? PCMR and crew will attempt to celebrate snow, Halloween and the late, great Michael Jackson by creating a “Thriller” Snow Dance performance in an attempt to break the world “Thriller” dance record.

Tanya Taylor, Performing Arts Director at Park City Academy, will teach the dance to volunteers until 5:00 p.m. (MST) and then the action will begin. If you happen to be around, head to the Town Lift NOW! Halloween, ski and snowboard attire is encouraged and participants will be eligible to receive season passes and PCMR day tickets which will be raffled off after the performance.

The current “Thriller” Dance record (not on snow) is 242 and PCMR hopes to “Beat It.”
