San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum wishes he were from Breckenridge

If all-star baseball pitcher Tim Lincecum were from Breckenridge, he wouldn’t have been charged with a misdemeanor for marijuana possession (OK I know, the bill isn’t effective until January 1st, but whatever).

But alas, the 2008 Cy Young award winner is from Washington state where it is still illegal to carry the drug. He was pulled over for speeding, and the officer smelled the reefer wafting out of Tim’s Mercedes. Without a fuss, Tim handed over the bud, which was only 3.3 grams (28.4 grams equals an ounce, so it wasn’t very much at all). He’ll show up in court in December because he pleaded not guitly, but he should end up being OK.

I bet he wishes he lived in Breck though.
