Stratton Mountain School to host Olympians this year for ball

Stratton Mountain School is a very prestigous ski and snowboard academy at the base of the Stratton Mountain Ski area in Vermont. Every year they have a fancy schmancy fundraiser with the intent of raising money for scholarships. Usually more than $600,000 is raised for the  SMS Scholarship Fund for the student athletes. Because so many Olympians are graduates of SMS, the theme for this year’s gala is “Rings of Glory”. There will also be several current Olympian SMS alumni on hand at the event this year, set to happen on Saturday, January 30th.

The event is black-tie, and it consists of both live and silent auctions, and of course some hard-core dancing action. Get your tickets soon because they will most likely sell out. Head to www.gosms.org for more info, and you can RSVP to RSVP@gosms.org. Have an awesome time!
