Killington ski resort will be open on Veteran’s Day

While we rejoiced at the opening of the Killington ski area in Vermont last weekend, Mother Nature isn’t quite on our side yet. Yet. So, they had to shut down after that weekend.

However, the manmade snow has survived through the warm spell in Vermont, and officials at Killington are happy to announce the re-opening of Killington for this Wednesday, Veteran’s Day! Lift tickets are $49 for adults, and season passes will be accepted.

Four trails will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Wednesday, and then the resort will close again on Thursday and Friday. Why? To try and preserve the snow so they can re-open again over the weekend. Officials will make that call on Thursday morning, which means we’ll know on Thursday morning…which means you’ll know.

If you can make it out to Killington tomorrow, enjoy! Hopefully they’ll be open over the weekend too. We’ll keep you posted.
