Design goggles for Olympians

Want to see your art on one of the biggest stages in the world? Addidas eyewear is putting out a contest. Create an awesome design for their iD2 googles which will be worn by the athletes during the 2010 Winter Olympics Games in Vancouver. The contest is being run through Talenthouse, an online community of artists. If your design wins, you’ll have another challenge to complete afterwards. You yourself must implement the design onto the goggles. Addidas will send you pairs of the iD2′s and you must put your design on them and then send them back.

Matthias Kosack is the Marketing and Sales Director for adidas eyewear in the UK and Ireland: “Talenthouse is an exciting new concept for adidas eyewear as it is a fresh and innovative way to engage emerging talent and discovering new design ideas for our products. The fact that Talenthouse is aimed at a creative community allows adidas eyewear for the first time to embrace creativity on a global scale and at the same time create positive association for our brand.”
