The Attitash Ski Resort in New Hampshire is getting ready for an awesome ski season. Check out some info from this press release they just published:

“Attitash started snowmaking efforts Wednesday night, the 11th, and will crank up the Big Guns each night thereafter, Mother Nature permitting, with a goal of being open Friday, November 27th, to start the 2009-2010 skiing and riding season in time for the Thanksgiving weekend. Get those skis and boards ready; it’s time to play!

Attitash has made yet another significant investment, this time in the upgrading of our rental equipment with scores of new skis, designed to further improve your skiing experience on our two mountains. Check out our great rental deals at http://attitash.com/rentals.html. In addition, we’re making improvements to the already legendary Ptarmigan’s Pub, home of apres ski for skiers and riders for many years, improving an already wonderful experience with hearty pub style fare, adult beverages and weekly live entertainment. At Ptarmigan’s, there’s something for everyone.

On the physical improvement side, Bear Peak Base Lodge has undergone significant repairs, as well as receiving some interior remodeling and painting while our extensive pipe system for snowmaking has seen the replacement of over 2,000 feet of pipes and the addition of 30 more snow guns”.

OK New Hampshire, get excited…
