New vest gives you battery charged heat for the winter

Early season ski resort openings likely mean colder temperatures around the country right now, and posibly all season, so in preparation for some nasty cold winter weather, slap on this new vest before you ski or snowboard this season. It’s actually meant for surfing, but from what I can tell, there’s no reason you can’t slap these on under your jacket.

From Time Magazine: “Quiksilver’s Cypher PS+ heat-vest system uses far-infrared fibers, which throw your body’s heat right back at it, to keep your core warm. The flexible heating pads placed over your kidneys are helped by a rechargeable battery”.

Pick up a vest for about $200. Christmas/Channukah/Kwanzaa/Festivus gift anyone?
