Champlain Valley Union HIgh School in Hinesburg, VT has something to brag about today: They are the first school in Vermont to receive a 1 kW photovoltaic solar array and renewable energy education package.  They received the solar installation as part of Bonneville Environmental Foundation’s Solar 4R Schools program and was funded by Rossignol and Protect our Winters.  Protect our Winters is a non-profit group that is dedicated to reversing global warming funded by fabulous snowboarder Jeremy Jones, and supports many community-level initiatives and educational programs.
