The first leg of the Race to the Cup Snowboard Tour at Copper Mountain finished up last Friday, and here are the results:

1. Jasey Jay Anderson, Canada (pictured right)
2. Mathew Morison, Canada
3. Nevin Galmarini, Switzerland

1. Fraenzi Maegert-Kohli , Switzerland
2. Lindsay Lloyd, Centerville, UT
3. Alexa Loo, Canada

American Lindsay Lloyd fought through two torn ligaments in her thumb to come up second. “I was super stoked for the race. I qualified in sixth for the race which was rather disappointing,” said Lloyd. “But I kept competing and between the injury and the weather I was able to shed any nervousness I had and finish the day with a great result.”

Here’s how the other American women finshed. Michelle Gorgone came in fifth while Lynn Ott finished the day in ninth and Madelin Wiencke took tenth. And as for the other American men, Chris Klug took seventh, and Tyler Jewell came in ninth. Adam Smith closed out the day for the U.S. men in tenth.

The second leg of this tour series will be in Steamboat Springs December 11-12.
