Stoneham ski resort puts on Bud Light November Chill, also Mont-Sainte-Anne news

OK, first the not-so-great news. Quebec’s Mont-Sainte-Anne resort is pushing back its ski season opening date and now hopes to open for business November 28th. Blame Ms. Mother Nature. Here’s resort spokesperson Lisa-Marie Lacasse: “More than 120 armed snow guns are set up on the North Side of the mountain and are impatiently waiting for cold and stable temperatures to fire again.”

Now for the better news. On that same day, November 28th, the Stoneham ski resort is throwing a season kick-off bash known as the Bud Light November Chill. The Chill brings together stars of the skiing and snowboarding world with industry representatives for a smashing party featuring Vancouver’s DJ Kid Koala. A rail jam will give the winner a thousand Canadian bucks!

Also, special lift ticket rates will be in effect at 20 Canadian bucks plus tax including the park, rail jam and party entry. Park access and the party will cost $10 CAN, while main lodge cover alone will cost $5 CAN, or free for season pass holders.
