How do Tom Wallish and other great rail skiers keep up their skills even in the off season? The Jib Yard of course!

The Jibyard is the latest offering for skiers and snowboarders to train at regardless of weather conditions. Located in Ogden, UT this year-round indoor facility offers a wide variety of obstacles to deepen one’s bag of tricks. Skiers and boarders can work specifically on their rail skills, with urban and park obstacles. The Jibyard offers both stylings for individuals to practice on.

Current jib offerings include:

Urban-Style Options:

FLAT-DOWN (ROUND-HANDRAIL)
FLAT-DOWN-FLAT-DOWN FLAT (SQUARE-HANDRAIL)
DOWN-FLAT-DOWN (OVAL-HANDRAIL)
DOWN (BOX)
DOWN-FLAT (BOX)
FLAT-SHELF (BOX)

Park Options:

FLAT (BOX) FISH TAIL (BOX)
CANNON (FAT ROUND TAIL)

If that wide array of jibs weren’t enough to entice you to check this place out, maybe finally finding that safe way to try out that Kangaroo Flip will. The Jibyard announced today the completion of their indoor jump, as well as their foam pit. The jump is said to be large enough to allow riders to throw double flips and corks. Should make for quite the amazing training grounds.

Tonight the infamous 4bi9 crew of “So Far, So Hood” fame will be there testing out the new jump, but it will be open to the public with a kick-off bash come this Friday November 20th.
