U.S. Ski Team tech athlete Resi Stiegler was evaluated today at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic at the Vail Valley Medical Center, and it’s been reported that she injured her left knee. The extent of her injury is still not yet known.

It’s an unfortunate blow for the 24 year-old former Lange girl, who recently came back from injuring her right knee.

“It’s hard for us when any of the kids get hurt,” U.S. women’s coach Jim Tracy told the AP. “We take it very, very personally.”

The injury occurred just over a week prior to the upcoming Aspen Winternational, the only women’s Alpine World Cup stop in the U.S. It’s not yet known if Stiegler will be able to ski in the event. We wish her the best.
