Friday Contest Tidbits: Peak Performance ‘King of Style’

Friday Practice Session

Just wanted to fill you all in on the latest going on at the 2009 Peak Performance “King of Style” contest at the LG Winter Jam in Stockholm, Sweden.

Today’s scheduled practice session for skiers on the scaffolding jump didn’t not go nearly as well as originally planned. The unusually warm weather (temperatures were around 50 degrees F) and 85% humidity index, did not make for ideal testing conditions. Only a few riders were brave enough, or maybe dumb enough, to hit the jump. Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative for tomorrow’s contest.

Media Coverage/Streaming Information

Swedish Television will broadcast the event live on Channel 2 and online at starting at 06:00 p.m. CET on November 21. The live streaming is available to all EU countries. If you live outside the EU you might need to use a proxy server or an IP Tunnel to get access to the stream. More info of how to that here:

Highlights from the event will be available at the Peak Performance website following the event.
