Happy 70th birthday Sugar Bowl ski resort! To celebrate, they plan on opening up for business this coming Wednesday, pre-Turkey day, November 25th. The White Pine and Jerome Hill lifts will be operating, and the Judah Lodge will be open as well.

Lift tickets will be sold for a discount during opening weekend, and daily CORE passes willl be available for 19 bucks, giving you and a friend another 10 bucks off the already discounted lift ticket. Good times.

Sugar Bowl’s director of sales and marketing John Monson remarked on the good times: “One thing is certain. With seven inches falling late last week, quality snowmaking temperatures on the mountain and a storm forecasting 10 to 16 inches more moving in, opening day for the 2009-10 season should be great.”

Rock it guys.
