Snow expected in mountains of Colorado

Sweet! Forecasts call for at least nine inches of fresh snow to hit the mountains of Colorado through tonight and tomorrow. Vail, Aspen and Steamboat Springs should all feel the love.

The storm should settle over the mountains and not affect Denver much at all. Denver should remain clear and crisp and sunny, with a high of about 44 today. The city will warm up a bit on Thanksgiving, with a projected high of 57.

After tomorrow, the mountains should be clear of any snow until the weekend, where both Saturday and Sunday are expected to bring some nice powder with them. Let’s hope for some awesome post-Thanksgiving skiing in Colorado!
