Telluride ski resort ready to rock Thanksgiving opening day

Let us give thanks this holiday for a rocking opening day at Ski-Resort” title=”Telluride” alt=”Telluride” target=”Self”>Telluride! Get ready for new terrain, and several resort upgrades, like new hotels and phenomenal restaurants as Telluride opens its doors tomorrow.

Here’s Dave Riley, CEO of the resort: “Our snowmakers and groomers have done excellent work on the trails – we are ready to open tomorrow. With incredible early season snow, the World Cup, our great restaurant venues and stellar mountain equipment, we are poised for a perfect ski season in Telluride.”

The resort is stoked to be the new home of international snowboarding competition in the U.S.  From December 17-20, the 2010 Visa U.S. Snowboardcross Cup heads to town. This will be the only U.S. stop of the tour and will feature an SBX (snowboardcross), PGS (parallel giant slalom) and the newly added Team Snowboardcross competition.
