Ride the Grease Bus to ski and fight climate change

We love to ski. Our snow is melting. What can we do? Well, realistically, not much. (Too cynical?) But here’s something you can do to make the most of things.

This marks the second season of Oregon’s Grease Bus mountain trips. The Grease Bus is powered by waste vegetable oil, and saves gas and money for several skiers and snowboarders at once. It takes them from Portland to Mt. Hood Meadows and back. This idea is the brainchild of snowboarder and bio-diesel whiz Mike Parzialle.

There are several other “rideshare” and “carpool” services this season designed exclusively for skiers and riders. Click here to read about one of them.

Save our snow!
