With all the talk of climate change and the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, we’ve spent a lot of time analyzing the effects of climate change on winter sport culture.

TIME Magazine has reported on the top 10 endangered exports in the world that will be most affected by a shift in climate. Some of the items on the list include honey from Argentina, Italian pasta and French wine. Number nine on their list? Colorado ski resorts. Here’s what they had to say:
“As one of the world’s favorite skiing destinations, Colorado’s resorts bring in $2 billion in revenue a year. But if temperatures continue to rise at the current rate, scientists from the University of Colorado at Boulder warn that the snowy season could shrink by a month. Making artificial snow is a problem because snowmaking requires so much water.”

Just thought you might want some good news for the day.
