The St. Regis Deer Crest Resort in Utah’s Deer Valley is now open, making it the first five star hotel in Utah.

The resort cost in the neighborhood of $320 million to develop…and it came in under budget! So far, the opening of the St. Regis has meant good things for the area. It has created 1,000 jobs, and has broken Utah real estate records with the sale of some of the 26 residences in the resort. Amongst the big wigs that bought places there include Papa John’s Pizza CEO John Schnatter, actor Kevin Sorbo and sportscaster Jim Nantz.

The resort spans 12 acres, with 181 guest rooms including 67 one-bedroom suites. 114 of the guest rooms can be combined with these suites to make 2, 3 or 4 bedroom units.

Sounds like you can’t go wrong staying there this ski season.
