Val D’Isere and Val Gardena ready for next World Cups

Officials were wary that the snow in Val D’Isere, France wouldn’t be enough to satisfy requirements for next weekend’s alpine World Cup, and were considering holding the cancelled events today at Beaver Creek. Recently, however, the snow conditions were approved, and today Val Gardena, Italy also received positive reports. was positive. According to the FIS, the mens World Cup races will be held as scheduled in both Val D’Isere and Val Gardena.

The U.S. Ski Team men flew today to Europe for the Val D’Isere World Cup which starts December 11 with a super combined. The women are on their way to Sweden, to race in Are.
