POWDER ALERT: Major fluffy snow in Utah

Posted By: The Ski Channel on December 8, 2009 11:25 am

The snow is still falling in Utah, and so far Brian Head Resort is winning in the race for inches, having claimed 22 overnight. Alta and Snowbird are reporting eight fresh inches, but we question that figure because there’s more than that outside our door in Salt Lake City.

Park City Mountain Resort, the Canyons and Deer Valley are also reporting between six to eight inches of new snow. Let us repeat, though, that the white stuff is still falling. The Ski Channel will keep you posted on the rising base depths!

Let us say this for now: It’s really nice snow. The light, fluffy kind you can kick around and blow off your mittens. Hooray!!! Get thee to Utah for some sweet powder action!
